The Town Hall was originally the house of the Podestà , the mayor . It is now a civic museum and art gallery, containing masterpieces by artists such as Pinturicchio, Benozzo Gozzoli, Filippino Lippi, Domenico di Michelino, Pier Francesco Fiorentino. Furthermore , inside the Town Hall, you can visit the room of Dante with the Maestà by Lippo Memmi and you can access to Torre del Podesta, or Torre Grossa, 54m high , built in 1311. The Torture Museum preserves and displays all the tools and techniques of medieval torture, instruments of death penalty, and documents of the Holy Inquisition.

It's recommended to visit the Chiesa Collegiata , also commonly known as the Cathedral , ended to build in 1148, it is considered one of the finest examples of Tuscan Romanic style . Built on three naves , the walls are entirely decorated with frescoes.

 Among the works of the Florentine Art school : San Sebastiano (Benozzo Gozzoli), Storie di Santa Fina, sculptures by Giuliano and Benedetto da Maiano and wooden statues (Jacopo della Quercia); those of Siena School : Vecchio e Nuovo Testamento ( and "Bottega dei Memmi"); Giudizio Universale (Taddeo di Bartolo). The Church of Sant'Agostino contains several frescoes, including the Chapel of St. Bartolo (Benedetto da Majano), Stories of St. Agostino (Benozzo Gozzoli), and other parts of frescoes, tables and paintings by different artists (Benozzo Gozzoli, Pier Francesco Fiorentino, Vincenzo Tamagni, Sebastiano Mainardi).
